You’d be surprised how many people are walking around London with a tattoo they regret. Every time they catch sight of it their heart sinks and it makes them miserable, because they’ve moved on and they’re not the same person who thought it would be appropriate to cover themselves in that particular design. For that reason they can either cover it up or seek laser tattoo removal, which is one of the most effective ways to remove unwanted tattoos.
Here at the Private Skin Laser Clinic in London, we’ve been performing laser tattoo removal for many years. Our highly experienced team has been working with laser machines for over 20 years. We can help fade and remove your regretted tattoo over several sessions, but our success at removing it completely will depend on the type of tattoo it is and the colour of ink used.
What Does Laser Tattoo Removal Involve?
We remove the tattoos using a YAG laser. During the procedure the ink will be heated up to break it down. It’s not a particularly comfortable procedure. The targeted area will feel hot. In fact, the removal sensation is similar to the sensation you experience when you had the tattoo.
It won’t fade straight away, but rather over time. You should notice a difference after a few weeks; your tattoo should appear more faded, but we recommend several sessions, roughly a month apart to achieve optimal results.
Do you have a tattoo you’d like us to remove? As every tattoo is different, we won’t be able to give you estimates on the length of time it’ll take to fade over the phone. We’ll need to examine its size, type and colour in person. In order for us to do that, please give us a call to book a consultation. We can help you remove your frustrating tattoo, and in doing so, move on from that part of your life. Please get in touch.
Many people have tattoos that they later regret, or which grow to irritate them. Here at our North London clinic, we see tattoos of all different shapes, sizes and colours, with a view to removing them from people who have grown tired of them.
The success of laser tattoo removal treatment largely depends on each individual design and a person’s skin type, so to help you have realistic expectations of the treatment time and methods involved, we’ve put together a list of factors you need to bear in mind:
Laser treatment is the perfect, non-invasive way to rid your skin of unwanted blemishes and tattoos, without resorting to surgery. You don’t have to schedule recovery time into your life and you don’t have to worry about how scarred you’ll be, because you won’t have any scarring! It’s unsurprising that more and more people are seeking laser treatment to rid themselves of regretted tattoos, age spots, fine lines and wrinkles, as well as unwanted body and facial hair, but what should you expect from laser treatment?
You’d be amazed how many people regret their tattoo choices. It would seem that many people either choose a tattoo on the spur of the moment, a tattoo that is dated in its appeal, or a tattoo that doesn’t live up to the expectations of what the wearer had hoped the design would look like.
The good news is you are no longer stuck with the tattoo choices you make. Laser tattoo removal techniques are effective and can remove the ink you no longer want on your body. Here at the Private Skin Clinic, we have been using laser tattoo removal methods since 1995. Some of our team have 20 years of experience of the process. To help you find out more about what it involves, we thought we would guide you through some of the most common questions we’re asked.
One of the most common misconceptions about how laser tattoo removal works is that the treatment burns away the tattoo ink using the heat from the laser. In fact, there is no burning involved. If done correctly by a laser tattoo removal specialist such as The Private Skin Laser Clinic, you should not experience any burns or scarring.
